Mr. Michael Ryan, Founder
Mr. Ryan has over twenty-five years of experience representing business owners, officers, and shareholders of privately held companies. He founded Worldwide Capital & Mergers in 1991.
Mr. Ryan has had experience in various industries with extensive experience in all types of transactions including: selling companies, acquisition searches, management buyouts, product licensing, business and product valuations, distressed companies, and sourcing venture capital funding. Prior to forming Worldwide Capital & Mergers, LLC, Mr. Ryan held a senior position in corporate venture capital at a Fortune 100 company. He began his career at a Big Four CPA firm in the entrepreneurial services division. Mr. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant. He has an MBA and a BS degree from St. Louis University.
Mr. George Alexander, Jr.
Mr. Alexander has 30 years of experience in starting, growing and selling
the three companies that he founded. These included an equipment
leasing company that provided leasing services to trucking and computer
companies. After selling, he started up a company that provided Master
Card and Visa computer processing services. The company processed
transactions for local banks, government social programs, and fuel
transactions for trucking companies. After growing this business, he sold
the majority of the company to a private equity fund. Mr. Alexander has a
bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama.
Mr. Newell Anderson
Mr. Anderson has over 25 years of business experience in domestic and international
business. He has directed and assisted in mergers, acquisitions, raising capital, exit
strategies as well as buys/sells. Newell has extensive corporate experience, as well as
Wall Street experience in developing comprehensive wealth strategies for families and
companies. Most recently, he was Senior Managing Director of Northeast/Mid-Atlantic
operations for Seidman Private Advisors LLC / BDO Seidman LLP, an international
accounting and advisory firm where he worked with clients as a wealth strategist and
financial advisor of high net worth and ultra high net worth families in devising solutions
to their problems. Also, Newell worked with some top names in the wealth management
and financial services industry, where he was a Vice President at Mellon Private Wealth
Management and SunTrust Private Wealth Management. He has extensive wealth
management, corporate and banking experience in developing solutions to problems.
Prior to going to Wall Street, Newell was an automotive executive with Chrysler
Corporation in both the domestic and international divisions for almost two decades.
He is a graduate of Rollins College, in Winter Park Florida, with a B.S in Business.
Mr. Dale Benzine
Mr. Benzine owned, developed, and subsequently sold four healthcare companies. He has started up companies and has been the CEO of public companies. He has been involved on both the sell and buy side of over 100 healthcare transactions over the last 30 years. He was part of the executive management of two healthcare IPO's, of which one was named the fastest growing company in America two years in a row. Mr. Benzine also serves on the Board of Directors of numerous companies including the Kennesaw State University Coles School of Business. Mr. Benzine earned his Bachelor of in Business Administration from Carthage College and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Michael Berkowitz
Mr. Michael Berkowitz has over twenty-five years of experience in business ownership and new business development. While still in his early twenties, he was the founder of a now twenty-five year old interpreting and translating agency in New York City that has counted among its clients major law firms as well as the Social Security Administration, The National Labor Relations Board, and other government agencies. He also founded a travel service, and has served as a marketing and business development consultant focusing on corporate communications for a wide range of businesses including accounting firms, luxury real estate agencies, executive coaching programs, and private equity groups. Featured in the International Movie Database, Mr. Berkowitz also spent three years as executive producer of a multi-market, cable television program that aired on Cablevision, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable. Mr. Berkowitz speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. He attended McGill University and the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Mr. Greg Buckis
Mr. Greg Buckis is a proven financial executive with extensive multi-functional experience in various industries. He has an in-depth understanding of SEC reporting, initial public offerings, government contracting, and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance. Mr. Buckis recently prepared USPowerGen for an initial public offering in his role as the Chief Financial Officer. He has also held senior financial roles with major companies including The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc., Science Applications International Corporation, Laboratory Corporation of America, and Martin Marietta. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Mr. Buckis obtained his bachelors degree from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He also obtained a Masters degree from the University of Baltimore.
Mr. John Casey
Mr. Casey has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance including positions with Verisign, Inc. and Bank of America. His experience in the healthcare division of banks and investment banking firms included identifying asset-based, senior debt, mezzanine, and equity partners. He has worked identifying funding sources in all areas of healthcare including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical services. He also evaluated and sourced technology deals for Verisign, Inc. in corporate development. Mr. Casey holds a Bachelors degree from Brown University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Mr. Peter Chen
Mr. Chen has over twenty years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, and as a business owner in China. He served for China Southern Securities Co., America Bush Venture Fund, and China Glory Holding Company leading numerous venture capital deals in various industries. He also owned and managed a technology company in China. Mr. Chen also has extensive experience in working with both the government sector and the private sector to facilitate deals and source capital in China and other countries. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Chen holds an MBA from Stockholm University.
Mr. George Cleary
Mr. George Cleary has extensive experience in operations, mergers, business development, and preparation of feasibility studies to support new business opportunities. Mr. Cleary has experience in both major corporations such as Walt Disney World Company and privately held companies including an information technology company. He is the past executive director and a current board member of the Central Florida International Chamber of Commerce. He also holds a State of Florida Real Estate License and a State of Florida Athlete Agent Certification. Mr. Cleary earned his Bachelor in Business Administration and Masters in Economics from State University of New York at Buffalo. He also has a second Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Lawrence Droutman
Dr. Droutman has led hundreds of deals in the U.S. and internationally in various industries including extensive experience in healthcare. His experience includes over thirty years in corporate mergers and acquisitions where he worked in over 23 foreign countries. In addition to English he is multilingual in French and Portuguese. Dr. Droutman recently taught graduate level corporate finance. He has a B.A. from Princeton, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph. D. from Columbia University.
Mr. Howard Ge
Mr. Ge has extensive experience in joint ventures, identifying targets, due diligence, start-up, operations, and mergers. He has experience with technology companies and gaming companies including 3D-DIGI Co. Ltd. and Dragonvision International Corporation. He has worked to set up a venture with Microsoft, led a Japanese group in establishing operations in China, and served as a liaison between businesses and various Universities as well as the Chinese and other governments. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Ge holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brandon University of Canada and a Degree in Business from the International Business College of Shanghai University.
Ms. Jennifer George
Ms. George has extensive experience working with firms including ING and Daiwa in New York. She has advised companies in various industries with an emphasis on energy and technology companies. She is a seasoned fundraiser with experience reviewing intellectual property and developing marketing strategy for entrepreneur's ventures. Ms. George holds a Bachelors degree from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
Mr. Clayton Gilman
Mr. Clayton Gilman has over 25 years of experience in corporate, business
and organizational development in the U.S. and International areas
including seven years residence in Europe. His roles in privately held
companies include business ownership/entrepreneur, senior management,
and board level positions. He owned his first business in the hospitality
industry at age 27. Mr. Gilman has managed venture capital programs for
a variety of entities in various industries by coaching and raising capital
for clients. He also implemented procedures that provide quality deal
flow for investment groups. He has engaged hundreds of companies
across a broad variety of industries as one of two boutique consulting and
investment firms in the U.S., and one in Ireland. Mr. Gilman has a bachelor's degree from CSU
Northridge and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Paul Harrington
Mr. Paul Harrington is an experienced private equity and mezzanine investor. In his role as the Director of the HSBC Capital (USA) Inc. private equity fund he originated and structured investments and acquisitions for the fund. He also performed due diligence, financial analysis and modeling and negotiated legal documentation. Mr. Harrington served on and participated on nine Boards of Directors of portfolio companies. He executed and managed investments in eight different funds including SBIC funds. His experience also includes Bear, Stearns & Co. and Chemical Bank. He is a certified financial analyst. Mr. Harrington obtained his Bachelors degree from Princeton University.
Mr. Frank Henaghan
Mr. Henaghan currently resides in the United Kingdom and has over thirty years of experience in the medical device industry. Mr. Henaghan was the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Criticare Systems, Inc. and also held positions with C R Bard. His responsibilities include setting up worldwide direct sales and marketing operations in numerous countries. He has also led an engineering team in developing a central monitoring platform and an advanced user interface for high level monitoring systems. Mr. Henaghan has relationships with over 100 distributors worldwide and is experienced in taking new technologies and established medical devices to the global market. He has knowledge of the specific legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements in the worldwide market for selling and distributing medical devices.
Mr. Warren Hu
Mr. Hu has over twenty-five years of experience in various roles in the U.S. and China including sales, marketing, market entry, operations, and mergers. He has worked in the Chinese office of U.S. corporations including Brooks Automation, Amphenol Corporation, Ingersoll-Rand Corporation, and United Technologies. He was also responsible for the startup of Helix China operations which included the integration of Brooks Automation (U.S.) after the acquisition of Helix. Mr. Hu has worked with both the government sector and the private sector to facilitate deals and source capital in China and other countries. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Chen holds a Bachelors degree in Termo Dynamic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Mr. David Hursey
Mr. Hursey has over thirty years of experience in transportation including freight brokerage, third party logistics, trucking and rail. He has worked for large companies including C.H. Robinson, Co. and owned a transportation company. He has diverse experience including business development, sales, operations and marketing. Mr. Hursey has a B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University.
Mr. Michael Jewett
Mr. Jewett has over twenty-five years of experience with international telecommunications and technology companies. He has lived and worked in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Rim. He has experience as an entrepreneur and with major companies including IDT Telecom. He has held positions in marketing, operations, and business development utilizing his skills in the international telecommunications and technology industry. Mr. Jewett has a Bachelors degree from the University of New Brunswick.
Mr. Andrew Joyce
Mr. Joyce's previous experience includes the Director of Sales and Marketing for BESTPASS, Inc., a subsidiary of the New York State Motor Truck Association (NYMTA). In this role he was active in marketing and developing relationships with executive directors of fellow state trucking associations and national trucking associations including the American Trucking Associations (ATA). He has also been active in a multi-generational family trucking business. Mr. Joyce has a B.A. from SUNY Oswego.
Mr. Mohammad Khair
Mr. Mohammad Khair has extensive experience in Fortune 100 companies and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Khair founded a company with multiple technology innovations in DNA sequencing and biotechnology processing space. In his startup venture he established partnerships with leading academic institutions and business market leaders. He was also able to raise seed investment funding of one million in seed capital. In addition to his experience as an entrepreneur, he worked for Baxter Healthcare. He is bilingual in English and Arabic and has a medium fluency in French. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering from Marquette University. He also has a Doctor of Electrical Engineering and computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Urbana - Champaign.
Mr. Peter Kihara
Mr. Kihara has 20 years of experience including investment banking, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and entrepreneurship. He has completed major multinational deals, and has raised capital for private companies including a company in the vocational education industry which he started. His experience includes corporate mergers and acquisitions at United Technologies Corporation. Mr. Kihara also worked as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Company. He has a B.S. from California State University, and an MBA from Harvard.
Mr. Kyung-Ho Kim
Mr. Kim has over twenty-five years of experience in establishing joint ventures, technology transfers/licensing, raising capital, and mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes working in the Korean Sales Office of National Semi-Conductor (U.S.) and owning an import & export trading company in Korea. Mr. Kim has worked with both the government sector and the private sector to facilitate deals and source capital in Korea and other countries. He is fluent in English and Korean. Mr. David Kirya
Mr. Kirya resides in Germany and has twenty years of experience in cross border transactions and transacting business globally. He has experience with both international corporations and as an entrepreneur. He has developed enterprise systems that allowed organizations to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of data on a real time basis in a comparative country context. His clients included major international firms such as AT&T, Nokia and Microsystems. Mr. Kirya has also planned and conducted a broad range of awareness raising media and political campaigns, special events, product launches and corporate sponsorship campaigns. He is bilingual in English and German. In addition, he has a medium multilingual fluency in French, Italian and Spanish. Mr. Kirya has a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering from Huron University. He also has a Masters degree from Freier University in Berlin and a Masters degree from the University of Vienna. His graduate work focused on political economics.
Mr. J. Scott Kreissl
Mr. Kreissl has over thirty years of commercial banking, finance,
leasing and structured finance experience. As a senior executive
and change agent, he was instrumental in the successful turnaround
of the US based equipment finance subsidiary of Deutsche Bank,
AG. At GE Capital he structured a synthetic lease transaction for
a Japanese auto manufacturer freeing up investment capital. He
has authored magazine articles, procedure manuals and paneled at
industry conferences. Mr. Kreissl has an MBA from the University of
Detroit. He has also attended Columbia University and DBAG
Mr. Tony Law
Mr. Law has experience in joint ventures, identifying targets, due diligence, raising capital, and mergers. His is skilled in a variety of industries with an emphasis on international energy companies. Mr. Law has worked with numerous energy companies both as an investment banker and in corporate roles including oil and gas, mining, precious metals, and alternative energy. He has worked with Chinese, Canadian, and various other governments as a liaison. Mr. Law is fluent in English and has a medium fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua (Chinese). He holds a Calgary Real Estate Board License. Mr. Law holds a Bachelors degree in Business from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Ms. Sharon Niederhaus
Ms. Niederhaus has thirty years experience in various home health care positions including president of an agency. She has also held numerous leadership roles in the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH). She is the past chair of the CAHSAH Board of Directors and is currently an active board member. Ms. Niederhaus has experience in all areas of home health. She began her career as a field nurse and took on expanding roles including, training, administrator, licensure issues, personnel management, and finally agency head. She also has experience in leading a due diligence team in numerous acquisitions. She has worked with both Medicare certified and private duty agencies. Ms. Niederhaus is an RN and a graduate of Protestant Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing.
Mr. David Oster
Mr. Oster has over twenty years experience in the healthcare information systems and the health insurance industry. He held executive level positions at Aetna U.S. Healthcare Inc. in information systems. He was also part of the transaction team for the merger of Aetna, Inc. and US Healthcare, Inc. His financial experience also includes Citibank. Mr. Oster has held roles in finance and as a Chief Operating Officer of privately held companies. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Mr. Ian Roberts
Mr. Roberts resides in France and has over twenty years of experience in cross border transactions and transacting business with both global financial firms and as a business owner. He has extensive global financial market experience including Union Bank of Switzerland and Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. In addition, he was a reporter, producer and marketer of CEO interviews for the Wall Street Reporter Magazine and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Roberts also led the sales and marketing of an online web-based retailer. He is bilingual in English and French. Mr. Roberts has a Bachelors degree in International Relations from Harvard University.
Mr. Gavin Ross
Mr. Ross began his career as a solicitor in private legal practice in Europe
before becoming involved in commercial ventures and consultancy. Mr.
Ross has over 25 years of corporate experience in business operations,
and systems with the principal objective of facilitating business growth
and in sourcing expansion capital. Most recently his experience has
been in the renewable energy technology sector. He has extensive
knowledge of the UK market as well as Eastern Europe and Africa. In
Africa, he has developed excellent contacts at the senior Governmental
and Ambassadorial level. In addition to English, he has a medium fluency
in Spanish and French. Mr. Ross has a bachelor's degree in Science and
Diploma in Legal Practice from Kings College, University of Aberdeen, UK.
Mr. Gus Ruiz
Mr. Ruiz has over twenty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and sales and marketing positions. He has worked in both the telecommunications and transportation industries at large companies including MCI Communications and privately held moving & storage and container companies. He is active in the Arizona Association for Economic Development and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. Mr. Ruiz has a B.S. degree from Indiana University.
Mr. Scott Snyderman
Mr. Snyderman has over twenty-five years of experience in deal making in a variety of industries. His mergers and acquisition experience includes setting up strategic alliances between a technology company and major corporations such as Motorola and United Airlines. He has also completed mergers and joint ventures between U.S., European, and Asian companies. In addition to working in the private sector, he was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York. Mr. Snyderman holds a Bachelors degree in International Business from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Mr. Ron Tolliver
Mr. Ron Tolliver has diverse business experience developed with Fortune 100 companies and early-stage technology ventures. His experience with early-stage companies includes telecommunications, internet/SAAS, and aerospace technology. Each venture required extensive application of leadership, strategic thinking, execution skills, and raising capital. Ventures in telecommunications and the Internet completed successful IPOs and were subsequently acquired. One was acquired for $6 billion. Mr. Tolliver is also involved with the technology community at Emory University and Georgia Tech where he assesses commercialization opportunities for new technology opportunities. Previously Mr. Tolliver held senior management positions at United Telephone System, the predecessor of Sprint, and served in the United States Air Force. He obtained a Bachelors degree from Florida Southern College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
Mr. Carl Tolson
Mr. Tolson has over twenty-five years of experience in investment banking, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and in government positions in China. He has experience in a variety of industries including sourcing $22 million for an electronic components company and over $800 million in real estate and industrial contracts. With knowledge of both the U.S. and Chinese markets he has been able to successfully set up joint ventures and facilitate international mergers. He is fluent in English and Chinese. Mr. Tolson holds a Bachelors degree, MBA and PhD from CSU.
Mr. Elliott Uchiyama
Mr. Uchiyama has over twenty-five years experience in the healthcare industry. His experience includes major corporations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Smith Barney. In addition he was responsible for strategic planning and acquisitions at privately held companies including physician groups, imaging centers, and hospitals. In addition to English, Mr. Uchiyama is fluent in Spanish, French and Japanese. He has a B.A. from the University of California, and an MBA and J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Mr. James Weathers
Mr. James Weathers has extensive experience in business operations including agricultural production, purchasing, and sales. He is a seasoned investor and has personally bought and sold agriculture and agriculture technology companies. His international experience includes negotiating contracts with companies as well as governmental organizations in Mexico, Central & South America, Canada, England, the European Union, and the Caribbean. He has experience importing/exporting to and from the United States through FDA, US Customs, USDA, and Homeland Security and their counterparts in many other countries. Mr. Weathers earned his Bachelors degree in Agriculture from Purdue University.
Mr. Gregory Wilkinson
Mr. Gregory Wilkinson is a proven financial executive and attorney. His experience includes his role as a Vice President of Finance and Legal with Telephone and Data Systems, the parent company of U.S. Cellular and TDS Telecom. He was part of the executive team that grew the company from $6.5 million to $2.6 billion through internal growth as well as through a series of startups and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Wilkinson has assisted a number of early stage companies in raising capital and works as a contract Chief Financial Officer, attorney and business advisor. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Mr. Wilkinson obtained his Bachelors degree and Master in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. He also obtained a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. David Wisher
Mr. David Wisher in a seasoned executive with extensive international experience in the telecommunications and software industries. Mr. Wisher resided in Moscow, Russia in his role as the Chief Financial Officer of Golden Telecom, Inc. He also resided in London as the Chief Financial Officer of Wavecrest Communication. Mr. Wisher has served as CFO of kCurea Corporation and currently contracts as the CFO for numerous privately held companies. He has extensive experience in international corporate finance, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, reorganizations, systems implementation, and general accounting. Mr. Wisher began his career as a big four certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse. He is a certified public accountant and obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana - Champaign.
